People Really Do Care About The Environment.
At ANCHOR & CREW, we believe in the glory of industry, the excellence of craftsmanship, the innovation of manufacturing and the value of skilled hands. Proudly from the East Midlands and handcrafted in Great Britain, these principles sit alongside our commitment to ethics, responsibility and sustainability.
We believe consumers deserve greater transparency. That's why we openly share the journey of our materials and the standards behind our products, empowering you to make informed choices.
True responsibility extends beyond a brand's own walls. While many focus solely on their internal operations, we are committed to continually improving every stage of our supply chain. Through transparent traceability, you can explore the origins of our materials and the partners who help bring our products to life.
Meaningful change is achieved collectively. By championing quality, organic, sustainable and Fair Trade materials wherever possible, we support a supply chain that reflects our values. Together with our customers, suppliers and partners, we continue to raise standards and drive positive progress throughout the industry.

Precious Metals & The Circular Economy
WWorking closely with Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, we source our sterling silver, gemstones and precious materials from one of the world's most respected centres of jewellery craftsmanship and precious metal trading. Quality, provenance and responsibility are fundamental to every stage of our supply chain. We partner exclusively with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical sourcing and transparency. Many maintain recognised standards and certifications relating to responsible precious metal sourcing, supply chain traceability and conflict-free materials, helping to uphold the highest standards of environmental stewardship, human rights and business integrity.
ANCHOR & CREW embraces the principles of a circular economy. All sterling silver and gold used within our collections is recycled precious metal, significantly reducing environmental impact compared with newly mined alternatives. Any manufacturing offcuts are returned to specialist recycling facilities, allowing valuable materials to be continually recovered and reintroduced into production.
As a British brand, we are equally committed to authenticity. Precious metal pieces are independently tested and hallmarked in accordance with UK legislation, providing assurance of their composition and quality. We believe materials should be celebrated for what they truly are, which is why our collections are crafted from solid precious metals rather than plated alternatives. Together, craftsmanship, transparency and responsible sourcing define the values that underpin every ANCHOR & CREW creation.

Woodland Supply Chain
The paper used throughout ANCHOR & CREW is sourced from one of the few remaining paper mills in the United Kingdom, selected for its longstanding commitment to quality and environmental stewardship. Using responsibly sourced Scandinavian pulp, certified forestry programmes and advanced low-impact production processes, our partners continue to invest in renewable energy, recycling innovation and woodland regeneration initiatives that support a more sustainable future.
Our leather is sourced from the renowned Igualada Leather Cluster in Spain, a region with centuries of tanning expertise and a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship. Through sustained investment in water treatment, resource efficiency and waste reduction, the cluster has become recognised as a leader in responsible leather production, combining traditional skills with modern environmental standards.
By carefully selecting partners who share our values, we ensure that quality, provenance and responsibility remain integral to every ANCHOR & CREW product.

Textiles Supply Chain
Our cotton is sourced from certified organic farms in India, where responsible agricultural practices support both environmental stewardship and farmer welfare. Grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilisers or genetically modified crops, organic cotton promotes healthier ecosystems while helping to preserve soil quality and biodiversity. Across the supply chain, our partners are committed to recognised ethical and environmental standards, including Fairtrade, GOTS, WRAP and SA8000 certifications.
Closer to home, we support skilled manufacturing and fairly paid apprenticeship opportunities within the United Kingdom, helping to nurture the next generation of craftspeople while investing in local communities. Through efficient production methods and considered sourcing, we continually seek to reduce environmental impact without compromising quality.
Whilst ANCHOR & CREW is best known for its jewellery and accessories, every product we create is guided by the same principles: a belief in the glory of industry, the excellence of craftsmanship, the innovation of manufacturing and the value of skilled hands. These foundations continue to shape everything we do, today and in the future.
